Kindergarten Readiness Bundle

I am so excited about the launch of my Kindergarten Readiness Packs and hope your family will love them as much as mine has! I suppose my girlies love the finished product more than all the time it took for me to create them, but that's basically water under the bridge at this point. I’m sure you can picture it: a mom who needs something to challenge her creativity and tap into some old skill sets and then a house that completely falls apart as a result of it. I am writing you today with no food in my fridge, mounds of laundry on my floor, dishes piled in the sink, and possibly a crying baby on my lap- but your Prep for Kindergarten Packs are on point! Trust me, all the work, love, and energy that usually goes into keeping my house afloat has been poured into your summer curriculum so you don’t have to think about it.

I have created two separate packs: one for language arts and one for math that are all standards based and range in difficulty to meet your little learner where they are at. The goal is to prioritize early exposure and build a basic math and literacy foundation before heading into Kindergarten.  You are also able to buy the entire bundle for the limited price of $30. Each pack will have 3 downloadable pdfs containing worksheets, diy math or literacy booklets, and flashcard games. The combined bundle has over 125+ printables including a read alouds list and log in case you are wanting to squeeze in some good reading time with your kiddos this summer. I have also included a black and white version of the math and literacy flashcards in your digital download and though it is not actually black and white, it is the version you should use if you plan to save and print with the black and white option. Coming to you from a mom who tries every last expired coupon code before I make my online purchases even though my husband keeps telling me, “They never work!” One day, I’ll show him when I save $5 and we get to splurge on half a Starbies drink ;) But just in case your printing code leaves you hanging, save a little with my dependable B&W flashcards printable option.

I am a lover of summer and want this to be utilized as an easy add on to your fun filled, schedule free season. My flashcard packs both incorporate some game ideas and activities because I am a strong believer in pairing movement with learning because chef’s kiss- that's where the magic happens! This bundle will serve as a great tool to prevent the dreaded summer slide and support your kiddo without overwhelming either of you. If you find that some activities have reached a level of overwhelm, set it down and move to the next page. Just the introduction to a new concept can be helpful, but remember that building learning confidence and intrigue is also a very important part of kindergarten preparation. This exposure should demonstrate why your child should be excited for the coming year and how learning, though sometimes difficult, can also be fun.

Growing up, my mother was a faithful subscriber to summer education workbooks and I was likely their least appreciative consumer. I can only imagine the horror my 4th grade self would endure recognizing what exactly I have created. Yet, my mother, per usual, knew what she was about and I suppose I am writing blog posts in no small part due due to the way she poured into the education and character development of her children. I hope to make the same effort with my own kids, even when they huff and puff about it. However, maybe I won’t call them out of the pool to work on these worksheets ;)

May you feel encouraged and may your kindergartners be ready!
